Today I will share about my experience about working in an Non IT firm. In today's highly technical challenging environment every big or small firm has its own IT department where they manage their own Software Development and Mainteneance team.This is because all the companies growth whether it is IT or Non-IT its growth is directly or indirectly connected to softwares, websites, etc. which helps them to bring down the efforts required for the overhead work and increase quantitative as well as qualitative work.
Also an IT team helps in advertising the products of companies on their websites and help the firm to increase productivity. Previously all the IT develoments like website, mobile app development etc. were done by third party It companies but this had a big cost over head on the client like FMCG , Banking, Foods companies and hence they made their own IT Support team.
So as of now job opportunities in an non IT firm is great and also these companies work on a particular domain and hence are least affected by market in recession period compared to other IT firms. As today in IT firm mostly projects are on support so there is also some lagging in a new developments but in non IT firms there are lots of new projects to work on. Also now non IT firms are trying to makeall their third party projects so that they don't need give support cost to other companies. Ya there are some issues in non IT firm like all projecs are some what same or we can say there are very less different challenges as compared to previous projects. But overall a good experience in workig in an non IT firm.....
